But even if you don’t speak the language, it’s hard to misconstrue the visual style, which declares clearly that Pedro Almodóvar is back, and this preview for his new film, The Skin I Live In, promises a cinematic feast as lavish — and potentially as disquieting — as any he’s delivered to date. Antonio Banderas stars; the film has its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, coming up in September.
