For some time after Apple released Final Cut Pro X out into the world, there was no official way to give feedback to Apple. Version 10 simply wasn’t listed yet on the company’s feedback form. Now FCPX has its own feedback page (say goodbye to FCP7 feedback). This is a much better way to let Apple know what we think is wrong with FCPX than Mac App Store reviews, and Apple says it will “read all feedback carefully.” At least those Mac App Store reviews got Apple’s attention.
Personally, I’ve already submitted several bug reports. It would be nice to see some of those things fixed early on in the life of FCPX. Bugs are sometimes hard to define: what one calls a bug another might call a feature. Even Apple understands that there will be bugs and issues that can’t ever be caught in beta testing and won’t show up until the software gets applied to different workflows.
And we all know that Apple is well aware of the missing broadcast workflow features, making the How do you use Final Cut Pro? question quite ironic:
I wouldn’t read anything into how those items are arranged, either; the list is alphabetical.
