1200:1 Contrast Ratio and High-Color Gamut Target Dailies and Post

This October Globalstor will expand its line of high-end DI storage servers with the introduction of a 4K LCD monitor aimed at those same users in the post market. The new 56-inch GS564KLC10 display, which debuted at IBC, has a particularly wide viewing angle and high contrast ratio (1200:1) that makes it fit in that sweet spot for dailies or other mission-critical viewing during post.
Globalstor president Scott Leif said in a prepared statement that high-end features like a high-color gamut and 8-/10-bit display color and OSD and RS-232 configurations set the new monitor apart. “The monitor supports VESA DDC2B and DDC/CI plug-and-play options and other optional features include a touch panel with up to four sensors (for four simultaneous touches) in addition to an AR/AG protective glass.”,” he added.

At full tilt, the monitor displays video at 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz. It is also calibrated for 5400K, 6500K, 7500K and 9300K color temperatures.
