Optimized for MAXON Cinema 4D Version 13

Need to model and render out a city from scratch and don't have the time, or the extra staff, to do it? If you're already working with Cinema 4D, you're in luck. Greyscale Gorilla has just released City Kit 1.2, an instant generator that produces some nicely textured and rendered cityscapes with minimal effort. You can also add in your own buildings, settings, window lights and sizes to customize your urban sprawl.
The new version is optimized for C4D v 13 (but works with versions 11 and higher) and includes preset rigs include those for both day-time and night-time renders. A custom area lets you more carefully set your own parameters and add in your preexisting models to the scene.

The coolest addition to this new version, however, is Shape City, which lets you create cityscapes on just about any object you can dream up (as seen above).

Greyscale Gorilla, otherwise known as Chicago-based motion designer, blogger, and Cinema 4D power user Nick Campbell, says a city shape option was the number one request from current City Kit users. He has also bundled two hours of tutorials to get you up and running with the package. (You can find his Vintage Film Look presets for sale over at Red Giant.)

The new kit is available for download for $149 here. A multiuser pack lists for $399.
