Deadline is December 1 for Shows Premiering in Previous 12 Months

The American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) has issued a call for television entries in the 26th annual ASC Outstanding Achievement Awards competition. There are three categories: (1) An episode or pilot of a regular half-hour series (2) An episode or pilot of a regular hour-long series, and (3) A movie or miniseries made for television.
The deadline for entries is noon PDT on December 1. Finalists will contend for top honors during the ASC Awards here at the Hollywood & Highland Grand Ballroom on February 12, 2012.

Submissions must have premiere broadcast dates in the United States between December 1, 2010 and November 30, 2011.

At the 25th Annual ASC Awards earlier this year, Jonathan Freeman, ASC, claimed top honors in the episodic competition for HBO’s Boardwalk Empire and Stephen Windon, ACS, won in the movie/miniseries category for HBO’s The Pacific.
