There’s a new view blog/web series that I’ve recently added to my watch list. Called In Production it’s a product of Carey Dissmore and Steve Oakley. There may be too much online video content to follow already but I’m keeping an eye on In Production, as I’ve had both Carey and Steve’s traditional blogs in my RSS reader for quite a while. I finally met Carey in person at NAB a couple of years ago while attending the incredibly fun MediaMotion Ball and have enjoyed his insights on Twitter as well. I’ve never met Steve but his posts on Tamron lenses helped me make the decision to put one of those into my camera bag. The first topic in their new series is a detailed look at DaVinci Resolve and two episodes are now posted. You can grab a feed for the show at the In Production YouTube channel.

Hopefully the hosts won’t leave their day jobs and pursue careers as stand-up comedians. There’s some good information here, especially for experienced editors new to Resolve. I look forward to upcoming topics.
