NAB SHOW 2012 — Las Vegas Convention Center — MOTU booth SL4612 — Friday, April 13, 2012. Next week at NAB, MOTU will demonstrate video capture and monitoring workflows for Final Cut Pro X and Avid Media Composer 6 using the MOTU HDX-SDI video interface with high-speed Thunderbolt technology.
MOTU will showcase broadcast-quality, Thunderbolt-based workstations featuring Final Cut Pro X and Media Composer running on a MacBook Pro, tethered to a 27-inch Apple Thunderbolt Display, Caldigit T-series high-speed storage devices (single drive and RAID), and the HDX-SDI Thunderbolt video interface.
"High-performance Thunderbolt technology takes desktop non-linear editing to a whole new level," said Jim Cooper, MOTU Marketing Director. "With convenient plug-and-play setup, massive bandwidth to support high-resolution workflows like 10-bit uncompressed HD, and the option to daisy-chain multiple devices for flexible system expansion, the HDX-SDI provides the most comprehensive video and audio I/O available for a complete Thunderbolt-based desktop video editing system."
Visit MOTU booth (#SL4612) for a demonstration of the HDX-SDI with Thunderbolt technology. The HDX-SDI will also be shown in the Avid booth (#SU902), Intel booth (#SL12810), and Caldigit booth (#SL10020).
