Joe Facchini, until recently Vice President of Media and Production Services at Panasonic, where he worked for 25 years, has been named Executive Director of Sales and Product Marketing at AbelCine in New York. According to a release issued by AbelCine today, Facchini's new management role at the bicoastal dealer/trainer will focus on developing the company’s national sales strategy with the goal of uncovering and introducing new products to AbelCine's inclusive rental and sales customers.
Facchini started his career at Panasonic as a system engineer before moving on to sales and marketing. In today's release, AbelCine's CEO and president Pete Abel brought up those triple-threat qualities that make Facchini a great fit for the new post. "With his combination of technical insight, industry relationships and marketing experience, he is the right person to lead AbelCine’s sales division to a strong future.”
