Entering the last few hours of its Kickstarter campaign, the SnapFocus follow-focus system for DSLRs from Midas Mount is an interesting piece of gear — levers and cables on each handgrip allow the camera operator to move focus in and out, from macro to infinity. One hand spins the focus wheel, and the other increases resistance, allowing finer focus adjustments. The SnapFocus works with any 15mm rod-based system and standard lens gears, and is slated to be available as an attachment or in a full shoulder-rig configuration.
