The Blades of Glory directing team of Speck/Gordon (Will Speck and Josh Gordon) tapped DP Jess Hall (Hot Fuzz) to shoot this retro spot for British mortgage and loan price comparison site Money Supermarket. It stars Gary, a regular guy who, Walter Mitty style, goes full-on Magnum PI to the uptempo beat of the show's famous theme song. The resulting Miami Vice and Magnum-style montage, edited by Cut + Run and treated by The Mill, is even better than the originals that inspired it.
