Director Randall P. Dark used 12 different cameras, ranging from 4K to a GoPro helmet-cam, to capture the footage in this documentary about an unlikely athlete who competes in the Texas Water Safari, a treacherous canoe race from the headwaters of the San Marcos River to the Gulf Coast. The film is executive produced by Dark and Jeff McAdams, its subject, and edited by Adrianne Parent.
