Studio and Shoulder Rigs for Sony's Popular New Camera
Redrock Micro has unveiled a new set of rigs for the Sony NEX-FS700, which brought coveted features like neutral density filters and a 4K sensor to the market earlier this summer.
Redrock designs its rigs with multiple rig adjustment points so that users can customize the rig's form and fit to specific needs. The company also builds them to cinema standards so that the rest of a DP's kit will be compatible. This bundle also includes some other Redrock standard features like lift-and-lock thumb knobs, a built-in shoulderpad dovetail for easy on and off a tripod, and a number of other assists that enable quick and painless changes between rig setups.
The Studio Bundle, designed for both the FS700 and its predecessor, the NEX-FS100, lists for $1,382.50. Upgrading to a handheld rig requires Redrock's microShoulderMount Deluxe Bundle.

They didn’t really announce any new parts. But I’m happy that for only $250 I can upgrade from DSLR rig to FS700 rig. I always liked Redrock Micro. It is pro quality but affordable. The price compared to Arri and Chrosziel is really low. Anything cheaper is not usable in the pro realm.
