Tripods Expand Options for DSLR Shooters
Vitec Videocom company Sachtler is bringing a new 75mm fluid head and corresponding tripods, as well as four new tripods that expand the brand's FSB range, for a total of six new tripods, to IBC in Amsterdam next month. The new fluid head, available in a carbon-fiber telescopic tripod and in one with a mid-level spreader, is aimed at DSLR filmmakers using camera setups under 13 pounds.
The four new tripods in the FSB range, known for its Speedbalance technology, will feature Sachtler clamping currently used on 100mm and 150mm tripods. This is the first time the quick setup feature sets will be available in the 75mm range.
The brand will be in Hall 11, Booth E55, where it will also highlight classic products like the Cine 7+7 HD and Cine 30 HD fluid heads, and EB/EFP Video 18 S1 and Video 20 S1 fluid heads. The brand will also be giving demos of the new HotSwap features in the upgraded artemis Cine HD Pro modular camera stabilizer system.
