Captures Images up to 1,000fps at 4096x2160 resolution
FOR-A will introduce to its European customers what it is calling "the world's first 4K super slow-motion camera" at IBC this week. First previewed at CineGear LA in June, the FT-ONE features an internally developed high-sensitivity CMOS sensor and captures images up to 1,000fps at 4096×2160 resolution. It also features a PL-mount lens and global shutter aimed at removing the usual skew and shutter distortion that result from rolling-shutter camera systems.
The FT-ONE records and stores raw uncompressed images to an internal RAM, as well as on one of two hot-swappable SSD cartridges that can each hold up to 75 seconds of 4K images, for a total of 150 seconds when both are in use. It can simultaneously record and playback images in full 4K via four 1080p HD-SDI outputs. Two down-converted HD-SDI outputs give users access to live viewing and the camera's control menu.
