New Three-Day Trade Show Includes Job Fair, Panels and Master Classes
Based on the success of its Style Frames New York conferences geared to advertising creatives and executives, Stash Media is launching a New York show aimed at the wider community of area visual effects, motion graphics and animation staff and freelance creatives and management. With SIGGRAPH shuttling annually between Los Angeles, Anaheim, San Diego and Vancouver, the Collider Digital Production Conference is the only East Coast-based show of this kind, though organizers say the locale will bring a tighter focus on the motion design and interactive studios, ad agencies, networks and in-house media departments of major brands with headquarters in New York.
Not to be confused with the movie blog of the same name, Collider was created by Stash's Stephen Price, who edits www.stashmedia.tv and produces a DVD archive for monthly subscribers. The conference will be held at New York's Hotel Pennsylvania from June 9 – 11 and is co-sponsored by Creative Heads, Post New York Alliance and Filter Foundry.
While show speakers and master class schedules have yet to be announced, the conference site has an email notification that will ping you when updated information is posted. Organizers have posted early bird ticket prices, which include $99 master class tickets and bundled conference and job fair tickets for $219. Tickets to the job fair alone are currently $25.
