Slate Media Group said its PostWorks New York subsidiary had purchased the assets of West Village post facility Mega Playground.
Slate signed a new long-term lease on Mega Playground's property at 609 Greenwich Street that it said reflected a "commitment … to downtown New York." Slate now has 185,000 square feet of post space in downtown Manhattan.
Slate's existing brands include Technicolor – PostWorks New York and Hula Post Production.
Update: We've confirmed that the Mega Playground brand will not continue under the new ownership, although Slate will occupy the existing facilities.
