Luxion released KeyShot 4.1, updating the ray-tracing and global-illumination program to add new rendering features and other improvements aimed at users who need to create visuals based on 3D models and CAD data provided in a variety of formats, including BIP files, Alias WIRE, 3ds, COllada, FBX, 3DM, and others.
KeyShot licenses sell for $995, with animation capabilities a $500 option and KeyShotVR, for delivering interactive viewing environments for 3D models, is another $1000.
