Slate of Officers Includes VPs Owen Roizman, Kees Van Oostrum and Lowell Peterson, Treasurer Victor J. Kemper, Secretary Fred Goodich, and Sergeant-at-Arms Isidore Mankofsky

The American Society of Cinematographers announced the results of its annual election, renaming Richard Crudo to the post of president. Crudo had previously served three consecutive terms as ASC president, beginning in 2003.

Others named today as officers include Vice Presidents Owen Roizman, Kees Van Oostrum and Lowell Peterson, Treasurer Victor J. Kemper, Secretary Fred Goodich, and Sergeant-at-Arms Isidore Mankofsky.

Members of the ASC Board, elected by active members of the organization, include Curtis Clark, Dean Cundey, George Spiro Dibie, Richard Edlund, Fred Elmes, Francis Kenny, Matthew Leonetti, Stephen Lighthill, Michael O'Shea, Rodney Taylor, and Haskell Wexler, plus alternate board members Kenneth Zunder, Steven Fierberg, Karl Walter Lindenlaub, and Sol Negrin.

Crudo's feature-film credits as cinematographer include American Pie, Music from Another Room, and Outside Providence. His current gig is on the FX series Justified, where he shares duties with ASC Board Member Kenny.

"Our 94-year history makes us the longest-standing group in the motion-picture industry," said Crudo in a prepared statement. "As always, we will be aggressively promoting our art and craft, as well as the related interests of cinematographers everywhere."

The ASC has more than 330 active members, plus 150 "associate members" from other parts of the industry.
