Olsen Is the Creative Agency's First GM
Troika, founded by industry veteran Dan Pappalardo in 2001, is known for its high-octane motion graphics packages and marketing campaigns for NBC Sports, ESPN, ABC, FOX and Disney. The brand consultancy is now targeting a growth phase in both traditional and emerging media markets by appointing its first General Manager, Kristen Olsen. Most recently a Senior Executive Producer at the agency, Olsen will run all of Troika's internal operations and logistics, from production and administration to financial planning and business development.
Olsen entered the business 15 years ago as a post-production editor and joined Troika in 2002. She was part of the company's Emmy-winning team that produced ESPN's 25th Anniversary graphics package. Prior to joining Troika, Olsen managed creative services for the former Friedland Jacobs Communications ad agency in Burbank.
In addition to managing Troika's team of directors, designers, producers, animators and editors, Olsen has a passion for running extreme obstacle races and travels across the country to compete in them.
