In this music video, the late Rob Morsberger uses Hans Richter's 1927 Dadaist short, Ghosts Before Breakfast, to map out and inspire his song of the same name. Playfully experimenting with visual and special effects to come, Richter also produced a sound version of his film that was destroyed by the Nazis during their purge of so-called "degenerate art." Morsberger's haunting song makes this silent version fresh, relevant and eerily modern. A singer/songwriter widely known for his Grammy-winning scores and arrangements for PBS (NOVA, Masterpiece Theatre, Frontline) and HBO (Boardwalk Empire soundtrack album), Morsberger lost his battle with brain cancer on June 2.
