Randy Thornton Moved to Amphibious Zoo Music
Earlier this year, Randy Wachtler returned to Warner/Chappell Production Music as President and CEO, based in Nashville, TN, and reporting to Warner/Chappell Music Chair and CEO Cameron Strang.
"I'm very excited to work alongside Cameron and his very talented team once again," Wachtler said in a prepared statement. "It's an honor to take the reins of one of the largest production music companies in the world and help navigate this business into the future."
In 1984, Wachtler founded 615 Music, where he worked through the company's acquisition in 2010 by Warner Music Group, leaving in January 2012. He is also the co-founder of the Production Music Association and a board member of the Association of Independent Music Publishers in Nashville.
Wachtler replaced Randy Thornton, who became chair of Amphibious Zoo in Draper, UT, in July.
