Bright Technologies announced the new BrightDrive Procyon, a 12-core, 2U update of its fully redundant high-availability SAN server. Bright says the slimmed-down design reduces power consumption and cooling requirements.
The new Procyon can be loaded with 15,000 rpm SAS drives or SSDs, Bright said. The company will be highlighting 4K uncompressed workflow at NAB, with a 4U 22 TB system at the Proavio booth (SL7408) and a 6U 120 TB system at the Imation booth (SL14213).
Bright Technologies will be on the show floor in booth SL5730.
