25–300mm 35mm PL-Mount Lens Will Be on Display at NAB with a June Ship Date
Fujifilm said it will show the Premier PL 25–300mm Cabrio at NAB. The lens, officially dubbed the ZK12x25, zooms through the broadest range of focal lengths of any lens in the Cabrio series.
Like all of the Cabrio zooms, the PL 25–300mm can have a drive unit attached for electronic control of zoom, focus and iris, meaning it can be used ENG-style or cine-style. The lens also supports industry standard lens motors in addition to the detachable Cabrio drive. Cooke's /i and ARRI's LDS metadata formats are also supported.
It will join the Premier PL 19–90mm, the PL 85–300mm, and the PL 14–35mm lenses in the Cabrio line-up.
The 25–300mm Cabrio is slated to ship in late June, with the optional 16-bit digital servo drive to follow in the third quarter, Fujifilm said. The price has not been announced.
