Boxx Technologies updated its line of GoBoxx 15 SLM mobile workstations, adding a new UltraHD-resolution IPS display option. Previously, the system displays maxed out at 3K (2880×1620), with a less-expensive HD panel option also available.
On the high end, the GoBoxx 15 SLM can be configured with an Intel Core i7-4980HQ 2.8 GHz quad-core processor, 16 GB of DDR3-1600 RAM, Nvidia Quadro K2100M graphics with 2 GB of memory, 512 GGB of SSD storage, 1 TB of data storage, and 64-bit Windows 7 Professional for $3365.
At .78 inches thick with a weight of 4.36 pounds, Boxx says these machines are "nearly identical in size and weight" to the Dell Precision M3800 workstation, but boasts of higher specs for certain components.
