Volvo is test-marketing something called "life paint" in the U.K. The spray-on material is invisible in daylight, but strongly reflective at night, meaning bikes and clothing can be made to light up when car headlights shine on them. It's designed for bicycle safety, but it could also be used to treat props and other materials to create interesting effects for adventurous cinematographers.
