The top-of-the-line DT-X92HX2 ($2,950) offers two nine-inch IPS 1920×1200 LCD panels (an improvement over the previous generation's 1280×800 screens) with features including embedded audio metering, scale markers, SDI timecode, title display, zebra stripes, freeze frame, and R/G/B-only display. It has SDI (3G, HD or SD), HDMI, and composite inputs. Its single-monitor counterparts are the DT-X92H ($1,650), which has similar features, and the DT-X92F ($1,950), which adds on-screen waveform, vectorscope, and RGB histogram options. Both can run on battery or DC power.

JVC has new larger 1920×1080 LCD monitors, too: the 23.8-inch DT-X24H ($2,450), the 21.5-inch DT-X21H ($1,950), and the 15.6-inch DT-X16H ($1,850). They all have HDMI, composite, and dual 3G-SDI inputs, along with 3.5mm audio out and 3G-SDI and HDMI loop outputs. All are powered by battery or DC.

"This is a major upgrade to our most popular line of LCD monitors," said JVC VP of Sales and Marketing Lon Mass in a prepared statement.

All six new displays are expected to ship this month.
