O.D. Welch, formerly of Cameron | Pace, Prime Focus, and ComputerCafe, is the newly appointed president of Digital Domain (DD). 

A specialist in visual effects and production management, Welch will manage day-to-day operations at DD's facilities in Playa Vista, CA and Vancouver, BC, said CEO Daniel Seah. Welch is a member of the Producers Guild of America, the Visual Effects Society, and the Hollywood Post Alliance.

"While it's true that DD has accomplished some incredible things over the years, I firmly believe its best days still lie ahead," Welch said in a prepared statement. "My goal is to ensure that DD is doing groundbreaking work for a long time to come."
