FOR-A said it's expanding the panel for the HVS-2000 Hanabi switcher to include three rows of controls.
The mixer will be shown at IBC with GearLink's control software, offering control of the full system from one screen.
Introduced at IBC last year, the HVS-2000 has up to 48 inputs and 22 outputs with frame synchronizers on every in. MELite lets the aux bus function as an M/E, with cut, mix, wipe, and key control and DVE, and FLEXaKEY allows key and DVE layers to be moved to traditional M/E or MELite resources.
FOR-A says using both MELite and FLEXaKEY gives the HVS-2000 the power of a 6 M/E switcher — which is where the expanded three-row control panel comes in handy.
FOR-A will be at IBC in Hall 2 at Stand A51.
