Shotgun announced the availability of Shotgun Panel, a new feature that works with Shotgun 6.2, adding a miniature Shotgun interface inside supported software applications.
Shotgun said the panel works with all of the tools Shotgun supports, including Autodesk Maya and The Foundry Nuke. If a software tool does not actually support panels, Shotgun Panel can run in a standalone window to offer similar collaboration and tracking features.
Shotgun 6.3 is still scheduled for later this fall, the company said, with updated features including the new Client Review Site. Shotgun pricing starts at $30/account/month.
