Imax says Adele's "Hello" is the first music video to be filmed partly with large-format Imax cameras. (No, the 1991 Rolling Stones concert film At the Max doesn't count.) The result is a detailed, nearly grainless image with velvety soft depth-of-field effects. Québécois filmmaker Xavier Dolan (Mommy, Laurence Anyways) directed and edited; André Turpin was the DP.
