Panasonic's new sub-$5,000 4K MFT camera, the AG-DVX200, has begun shipping.
The first DVX200 left the company's Okayama factory on September 25, according to a blog post by Panasonic Professional Imaging Director Kunihiko Miyagi, and the cameras started showing up at resellers this week.
"Our engineers worked very hard to ensure that we could start shipping the camera in September," Miyagi wrote. "After announcing the product at NAB, we received a lot of feedback from users all over the world, and have tried our best to address all of your opinions when building the camera."
Here's the "first official footage" from the camera, posted a few weeks ago by Panasonic.

Not bad. If they made an interchangeable lens version, I’d probably have already ordered one.
