Panasonic released a firmware upgrade for its AG-DVX200PJ 4/3-inch handheld 4K camcorder that enables a "fast scan" mode to reduce skewing in certain recording modes and improves color reproduction at higher brightness levels for more accurate skin tones.
Other features include the reduction of "potential black dot noise in 4K/UHD," an aspect ratio correction to properly display anamorphic SD video in a 16:9 frame, and a bug fix for the ISO gain display in high-sensitivity mode.
V1.25 of the DVX200 firmware can be downloaded from Panasonic's website.
