David MacMahon Mount has been named VP of Business Development at Warner/Chappell Production Music, where he is responsible for managing and growing the company's U.S. business.

Mount is a veteran of APM Music, where he became key account director, cable productions in 2013. He is also a musician and songwriter and an associate member of the New York Chapter of the Recording Academy. His favorite album of all time? Led Zeppelin IV.

"David's proven track record both inside and outside the production music industry will be a valiable asset to the team and to our current and future clients," company President and CEO Randy Wachtler said in a prepared statement. "We are thrilled to have him on board and are excited to further develop our success within the North American market."
