The creators of the wildly violent, R-rated martial arts extravaganzas The Raid and The Raid 2: Berandal set out to see if they could create an action scene that could capture the kinetic energy of their earlier work without all the blood and broken bones. The result is this tasty morsel of fight choreography. It was designed in less than a week and shot over three days in Wales. Editor, DP and director Gareth Evans worked on location with his cast, a Sony NEX-7 mirrorless camera, and no crew.
