Dalet released Dalet Brio 3.4, a new version of its IT-based ingest and playout platform that includes support for IP video standards with SMPTE-2022-2 H.264/AAC playout and SMPTE-2022-6 ingest and playout.

The new Brio also adds support for hardware-accelerated Sony XAVC LongG and 4K Intra ingest, automatic hardware-based upscaling from SD to 1080i on input, a web ingest scheduler with router control and RESTful API, and a backup copier allowing export to FTP while ingest is taking place.

Dalet Brio customers include France TV, Fox Network Group EUrope, MediaCorp, MediaSet, NASA, and the San Jose Sharks.
