Beyoncé's Lemonade, the clear favorite for Breakthrough Long Form Video at this weekend's MTV Video Music Awards, synthesizes the styles of seven cinematographers and several directors, including the singer herself. This sequence was shot and directed by New York-based rising star Dikayl Rimmasch. His credits include Beyoncé's Formation Tour promo, which ran during the Super Bowl, two Lenny Kravitz music videos and several Ralph Lauren short films—all captured (or finished) in his signature black and white.
