Mixer and sound designer Ted Marcus is joining New York audio facility SuperExploder.
Marcus is an experienced musician whose career in audio included a stint as the drummmer for the Meat Puppets for four years following the band's 2006 reunion. (You can hear him play on the albums Rise to Your Knees and Sewn Together.) His other credits include stints at Jeco Music/Stolen Car Productions, Clack Sound Studios, and Ultrabland as well as more than six years in MTV's on-air promos division.
He was sound designer for the MTV documentary Translating Genocide: Three Students Journey to Sudan and has worked on spots for clients including HBO, Cinemax, FX, NatGeo and others.
