Keeping up with the latest tech will get a little more convenient for New Yorkers next year, when NAB and the AES co-locate their shows at the Javits Convention Center in October 2017.
The AES Convention will be held October 18-21, and NAB Show New York will take place October 18-19. That means NAB NY will be moving up from its usual November slot. The two organizations said their exhibitor lists overlap "only fractionally."
“Given the co-dependence of audio and video, we see this as absolutely the right thing to do to better serve the industry overall," said NAB VP of Conventions and Business Operations Chris Brown in a prepared statement. "We expect it to drive an enhanced experience for all involved."
This year's NAB Show New York is still scheduled for November 9-10, while the annual AES convention has just gotten underway in Los Angeles.
