FuseFX's Vancouver production facility has new leadership, with Randall Rosa taking over as head of production and senior VFX supervisor.
He is being joined by Wendy Lanning, who has been named executive producer in charge of client relations, business development and strategic planning.
"This company has great talent and I want to foster an atmosphere where artists are continually challenged and clients' creative goals are always exceeded," Rosa said in a prepared statement. "It's a wonderful time to be in Vancouver and to work in episodic storytelling."
Rosa is an industry veteran whose experience dates back to 1993, when he started working for Digital Domain. Most recently, he was animation director overseeing the 3D department at Air Bud Entertainment, working on family films for Disney and Netflix.
Lanning comes to FuseFX from Psyop Film & Television in Vancouver, where she was visual effects executive producer. She has also worked at Look Effects, Digital Domain, and Prime Focus, and was a co-founder of Intelligent Creatures in Toronto.
Her credits have included Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Noah, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Fountain and Babel.
FuseFX opened its Vancouver studio in 2014, where it produces shots for series including The Magicians, Dark Matter, Zoo, Salem, Aftermath and Timeless.
