The new King Kong remake looks to be a lively action-adventure, as director Jordan Vogt-Roberts (The Kings of Summer, Nick Offerman: American Ham) brings a matinee sensibility to the creature feature. Best of all? ILM's Kong, with a head structure and fur texture that lovingly reference the Willis O'Brien original. Cinematography is by frequent Zack Snyder collaborator Larry Fong (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Super 8).
