Deluxe Names Kerry Shea Head of Vancouver VFX Studio

Deluxe Entertainment Services has put Kerry Shea in charge of its VFX studio in Vancouver, where she will oversee operations at Method Studios and Encore, reporting to Deluxe VFX and VGR President and GM Ed Ulbrich. 

Shea's industry background includes stints at Digital Domain, Jim Henson Company, DreamWorks Animation and Sony Imageworks. She was previously COO at previs specialist The Third Floor.

“We’re working to align all of our VFX teams worldwide to operate as one integrated studio, and having Kerry heading our 500-person Method team in Vancouver is going to be key in the growth of our global capacity for feature films," said Ulbrich in a prepared statement. “Kerry’s institutional and operational knowledge of VFX and post is of the highest order. She has great operational skills and is fantastic at building teams, and we’re thrilled to have her overseeing our Vancouver operation.”
