Corey Stewart has joined New York's Harbor Picture Company as Chief Technology Officer, the company said this week.
Stewart is set to work with Harbor's chief engineer, Avi Laniado, on what company founder and President Zak Tucker calls a "holistic approach to post."
Stewart had been chief engineer at Technicolor PostWorks New York since 2008. His earlier tenure there had included the positions of online editor, Avid support technician and lead engineer.
"The deciding factor for me on making the move to Harbor was the company’s unparalleled commitment to advancing the technologies, workflows, and cross-discipline support it offers its clients and artists," said Stewart in a prepared statement. "There’s a real opportunity here to pioneer a more innovative type of post.”
Recent shows that passed through the doors at Harbor include Arrival, Beauty and the Beast, and Showtime's Billions.
