The rarest of Jean-Luc Godard's films, this short adaptation of a Guy De Maupassant short story shot on 16mm on the streets of Geneva, appeared with little fanfare and out of nowhere this week on YouTube. In 2014, film critic Ignatiu Vishnevetsky wrote an essay about his quest for a screening of the film for the A.V. Club calling it "the most elusive rarity of the French New Wave."
