Facebook Product Director Dan Danker and Liberty Global EVP and CTO Balan Nair will be among the keynote speakers addressing the IBC2017 Conference, IBC said today.
Danker will be joined by Modern Times Group President and CEO Jørgen Madsen Lindemann at a session titled “Fans, Friends and the Future of Broadcasting” that considers blurred lines between traditional broadcast and online video. And Nair will be part of the panel at the “CTO Roadmap Keynote,” which is set to address challenges facing broadcast and media industry executives.
Also announced: Digital Consumer Group President and COO Brian Sullivan of the Fox Networks Group will speak on “TV everywhere” services in his talk, “View from the USA: What Consumer Power Means for Fox Products and Services.” And HTC President of Viveport and SVP of Virtual Reality Rikard Steiber will deliver the conference’s “Technology Forward Ketnote: What’s Happening in VR, AR and Mixed Reality.”
IBC said more keynote addresses will be announced “in the coming weeks.”
The IBC2017 Conference is scheduled for September 14-18, 2017, at the RAI in Amsterdam — one day ahead of the exhibition, which runs one day later, September 15-19.
