VFX software maker Foundry has a new CEO. The company said today that Craig Rodgerson, formerly CEO of Capita Digital Software and Services, had been recruited for the role, effective immediately.
“We are thrilled that Craig has joined Foundry,” said Nic Humphries, senior partner of London-based HgCapital, the private equity firm that owns the company. “His excellent track record of driving sustainable growth within the software space is the perfect fit to support Foundry’s ongoing strategic direction.”
Rodgerson will be the second exec to step into the company’s leadership position in a little less than two years. In November 2015, shortly after HgCapital bought Foundry from its previous owner, Washington, D.C.’s Carlyle Group, former Shine Group CEO Alex Mahon replaced Bill Collis in the position. Mahon now becomes non-executive deputy chairman of the company.
