John Bailey, Denny Clairmont Among Honorees
John Bailey, ASC, and Clairmont Camera founder Denny Clairmont are among this year’s recipients of lifetime achievement honors from the Society of Camera Operators.

Bailey will receive the 2017 Governors Lifetime Achievement Award and Clairmont will get the Lifetime Achievement for Distinguished Service Award during the presentation, scheduled to be held February 2 at the Loews Hollywood Hotel.
Four more lifetime achievement awards were announced today, recognizing outstanding achievement by a craftsperson with at least 20 years of experience. They include camera operator Scott Sakamoto, SOC, mobile camera platform operator Dan Pershing, camera technician John Connor and still photographer JoJo Whilden.
