Founder Peter Corbett Expected to Remain on Board as Company President
Industrial Color Studios, a production company offering photography, editorial, color-grading and CG services, has acquired New York design and animation studio Click 3X, the company announced today.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Industrial Color said Peter Corbett, who founded Click3X in 1993, is expected to stay on as president.

“We’ve seen a growing need for video production capabilities and have been in the market for a partner that would not only enhance our video offering, but one that provided a truly integrated and complementary suite of services,” says Industrial Color Studios CEO Steve Kalalian in a prepared statement. “And Click3X was the ideal fit.”
In November, Industrial Color opened a spacious product-photography studio in downtown L.A., which combines with the Click3X offices to bring its total footprint across L.A., New York, and Philadelphia to more than 200,000 square feet of facility space.
