I suppose puppet-making often begins just by gathering stuff — materials that I find attractive, like wood and sticks and wire and leaves and flowers and petals and bits of broken electronics,” says singer-songwriter and BAFTA award-winning stop-motion artist Ainslie Henderson, who made this animated short in collaboration with musician Poppy Ackroyd. “Things that have already had a life are lovely to have in puppets.
