Citing new demand for editorial space in the San Fernando Valley, Pacific Post has opened a new 10,000-square-foot facility in Sherman Oaks, CA.
The location has 25 Avid suites, a writer’s room, and production office space, all linked up to Avid Nexis shared storage with GB fiber connectivity and VoIP phone service, the company said. Coming online soon will be a 4K screening room with a 150-inch screen as well as a kitchen and lounge area.
“We recently provided equipment and services to the editorial team on Game Over, Man! for Netflix in Sherman Oaks, and continued to receive inquiries from other productions in the area,” said Pacific Post VP Kristin Kumamoto in a prepared statement. “The explosion we’ve seen in scripted production, especially for streaming platforms, prompted our decision to add this building to our offerings.”
Located at 14225 Ventura Blvd., the Sherman Oaks location will supplement Pacific Post’s existing facilities in Hollywood and North Hollywood.
