An army of hundreds of judges from across the media business have weighed in, naming a widely varied slate of winners in the 39th annual Telly Awards.
Given in a multiplicity of categories reflecting the nature of the modern media landscape, the Tellys were re-tuned this year to put a spotlight on multi-screen media, highlighting social media content meant for viewing on small mobile phone screens as well as spots designed to fill up some of the largest screens in the world.
360-degree projects were well represented among the honorees. One of the big winners is “The Largest 360 Video in the World,” a Mercedes-Benz project created for the 62,000-square-foot halo screen at the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. (See StudioDaily’s coverage for more details.) Also taking prizes were Atlanta’s Sprocket Creative and Turner Classic Movies for the fifth episode of the Noir Alley 360° of Noir social media series. (Look for StudioDaily’s coverage of that project, coming soon.)
A searchable index of all Telly winners is available at the Telly Awards website.
